Course overview

The course covers 9 basic topics including how public sector financial reporting should be undertaken. 

The 9 topics/modules are:
The municipal Standard Chart of Accounts (mSCOA),

Internal controls, Routine Accounting Transactions,
Revenue Management, Expenditure Management,
Asset Management, Supply Chain Management,
Cash Management, and In-Year Reporting

Each topic has its own set of logbook requirements. Quizzes cover some of the requirements, while the remaining work must be submitted for assessment by mentors.
